The main project’s goal is to go

beyond a traditional idea of building.

The area is located in the

beautiful country of Tuscany, very

closed to the city center of Florence,

surrounded by many olive trees

and bordered on the north side

by a stream.

The project borns around the idea

of creating houses completely integrated

with the landscape, done

by a concrete walls structure and

a green roof, able to re-build the

original terrain shape, traditionally

cultivated with vineyards or olive

trees.

Every house has a patio, created

to give a peculiar light to the living

room and, mainly, to preserve the

olive trees present on the ground;

other olive trees are moved on

the rooftops, reaching this way

the aim to save almost all the existing

olives.

The rooftops are meant as roof

gardens, allowing the impression

to live the house such a natural

continuation of landscape, which

means to imagine an urban development

that doesn’t change in

any way the context.
